My Brother “Hacked” My Laptop

What’s good friends!

Today I was sitting at my desk, 101% focused on my laptop and being ignorant of what’s happening around me as usual.

I was watching a video, when suddenly everything just went crazy on my screen.

The screen was moving up and down rapidly and it would occasionally open an app.

I freaked out and was like “WHOA, WHAT DA HECK IS GOING ON?!” In a pathetic attempt to stop the mayhem, I plugged out all USBs connected to the USB ports of my laptop.

Spoiler alert: it didn’t work. My laptop was still going crazy, screens blinking and flashing. Had my laptop given up on me? Was I a shitty owner? Was it because after eating, I didn’t wash my hands before using it that one time? Still panicking, I removed my earphones to ask my siblings for advice (I don’t think they would know what to do about it, but it feels good to tell someone, I guess. A very human thing to do) and that’s when I heard it.

My brother was randomly smashing on a bluetooth keyboard with his hands, because he was frustrated that the keyboard didn’t connect to his laptop. I used to use that bluetooth keyboard and I haven’t disconnected it, so that’s why my laptop acted this way, because my brother was unintentionally controlling it the whole time (*plays “Never Gonna Give You Up”).

As Detective Conan said, “There is always only one truth.” The culprit was my brother (I feel betrayed-)!

Case closed.
