Never Give Up

Good evening everyone!
Today my teacher said something inspiring that made me think I should share it with everyone, because my friends need to hear this.

Basically she said that we shouldn’t give up and we have to persevere and prevail. It’s easier said than done, so what should we do?

Some stuff to help you get going:

1. Stop using the word ‘try’.

A year ago, I read from an article that using the word ‘try’ means you’re not doing the best you can. Saying that you’ll ‘try’ means you’re gonna do it half-heartedly. Either you do, or you don’t. Simple as that.

2. You need to have a strong purpose.

Everything you do has a purpose, otherwise you wouldn’t be doing it.

If you wanna keep loving and doing something even after a long time, you’ll need to have a strong purpose. It reminds you of why you started doing the things you do. It will keep you going when you feel like giving up.

Write down your purpose on a piece of paper and stick it to somewhere you’ll always see. Examples: bathroom mirror, bedroom door, desk wall, locker etc.

Also, you have to stop saying things that belittles or brings yourself down. Feedbacks and constructive criticisms are okay, but negative self talk isn’t.

3. Use a different method.

Switch to a different method if something isn’t working out. Some stuff requires more attempts to get it right, while others doesn’t work simply because you’re using the wrong method. It’s up to you to discern.

4. Have faith in God.

If something doesn’t work out the way you wanted it to or when you feel hopeless and lost, pray! God has our best interests at heart, we just gotta keep doing the things we do and don’t stop putting in the grind. May His will be done for all of you, Amen.

I believe in everyone one of you, keep up the grind bros.
