New Life Perspective

Salam.

How’s it going friends? Today is day two of my dopamine detox and it’s going quite well, praise be to God. Feeling good and really grateful for the accountability I have with the bros.

Had a conversation with my uncle (he’s a pastor) in the car in the afternoon and it was a really insightful convo.

Basically, I told him that a lot of the worldly people (people not of faith/religion) are dirty and hopeless. He told me that only a few people are truly trash, the rest are actually good and they are just waiting for their time to come to hear the words.

He then went on to say that actually the important things in our daily life is not about earning money or going to the gym. He said that it is to let those who are lost find God and their purpose of living. This was shocking news to me.

I’ve been watching self-improvement content for about two and a half years now, and no YouTubers or influencers put it into perspective like that. I was always told by them to workout everyday, grind hard, earn money, take care of family etc. Besides the Tates, they never really touched upon the subject of spirituality/faith/religion.

Now, I will mindfully stop judging others so much and start to live sharing about God with others..

EDIT (13/8/2023, 9:39pm):

Man, I left out a major detail – God was really, really upset that day, He really was. It rained HEAVILY after I got home that day.

Here’s a video of it:
