RHR (Resting Heart Rate)

What’s good brothers and sisters!

Let’s talk about RHR today. To measure your RHR, you may put your fingers on top of your wrist and measure the number of beats per minute. Another method is to use a sphygmomanometer (which is a fancy word for blood pressure monitor).

My measurement: 7 August 2023, 69bpm. Not particularly happy about the results, I want to get my RHR to below 40bpm. Gotta ramp up the intensity of my workouts and… cardio… CARDIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Why do I want a lower RHR? Apparently, a lower RHR signifies your athleticism as your heart is more efficient in doing its job (which is pumping blood? I failed Biology). Lower RHR makes me feel better about myself, that makes sense? Sounds a bit weird saying it like that.

Tell me your RHR in the comments! Happy exercising beloved friends! 💪💪💪
