Salutations, musical soul!
On the 25th of October 2023, Wednesday, I went to The Petronas Philharmonic Hall for an MPO open rehearsal.
They were rehearsing for the event “Music of Hans Zimmer.”
The ticket cost me RM 52.
I will be documenting my entire experience in diary format. I hope you’ll enjoy reading it!
MPO series:
-> Part 0 – Picture Diary (p.s. you’re reading it right now!)
-> Part 1 – The School of Gorgeous People
-> Part 2 – Colourful People of MPO
-> Part 3 – Musical Meditation
Since I arrived there super early, I wandered into KLCC to poop and take a stroll. KLCC was actually open already, but the shops were still closed.
Eventually, I got bored of exploring, so I loitered around the entrance of the Philharmonic hall. I ended up having a casual chat with the female guard on duty at that time.
Then in came a group of about 30 foreigners (mostly white people). I was like :OOO. They were granted early entry, because they were part of an organized tour.
Seeing this, the female guard also granted me access, saying “Go join your friends.” I was so confused ??? Like surely this was a misunderstanding, but I didn’t care, I just cared that I can finally go upstairs!
Next up in the MPO series: Part 1 – The School of Gorgeous People.
