Gardening in Church #0

Good evening friends!

I spent this morning doing some work like gardening and painting in church. It was a very fulfilling and joyous Saturday morning for me XD.

First off, we went to a restaurant near our church to get some dead bamboos for fertilisers (The restaurant has a row of bamboos outside and after they’d finish pruning them, they would just throw them out on a ground outside).

Bamboos for fertiliser (Initially there were a lot more,
but I took this photo after we’re done with using them).

End result:

Pots ready for plants and flowers to move in!

Process: Start by digging up those dirt, then breake the bamboos into smaller pieces and fit them inside the pot. Next, fill in some bamboo leaves, then put some dirt over it. Repeat till the pot is full ✅.

Ready for the next step.

Let’s get you settled in, dirt!

Now, we’re ready to move the plants and flowers into their new homes.

Tools:

A pair of gloves, a gardening fork,
a gardening trowel and pot with plants you want to replant.

Loosen up the soil around the plant by using the gardening fork. Then, use the gardening trowel to shove up the plant. Do you best not to damage the plant’s roots. Move the plant together with the dirt.

How it came out:

Use your hands and fingers to estimate where you want to place
your plants and dig a hole deep enough for the replant.

Cute ‘lil shoot.

We found a HUGE earthworm during the replant process.

Say cheese 🧀.

Took a break after we’d finished fertilising the pots and replanting.

My first time seeing yellow watermelon. Fr.
Super sweet too!

Later, a sister in Christ and I painted some bamboo bars together.

Painted the horizontal bars.

Very thankful for this amazing day. Have an awesome weekend y’all, peace.
